Electronic Voice Phenomenon (EVP)

Within ghost hunting and parapsychology, Electronic Voice Phenomena (EVP) are sounds found on electronic recordings that are interpreted as spirit voices that have been either unintentionally recorded or intentionally requested and recorded. Parapsychologist Konstantīns Raudive, who popularized the idea in the 1970s, described EVP as typically brief, usually the length of a word or short phrase.

The following is a collection of EVPs we have gathered over years of investigations.

#42-While Mike and I was the only ones on the second floor in the family area, we heard someone coming up the stairs to the second floor. We thought it was the other team coming up the steps, but they did not come up to us. #54-While Marianne, Andrea, and Laura were in the family area, Mike, Lee and Shawn were in the bible room doing an SB7 session. #56-After Shawn and Mike finished their EVP session in the family area and they heard someone coming up the steps. Marianne, Andrea, and Laura were waiting downstairs while they investigated the noises. Marianne caught this whisper (enhanced) on her recorder. #58-This is another one that sounds like there is a response on the SB7 in the other room; however, it wasn't. It also sounds like a response from the Ovilus, although the log on the Ovilus does not have this. Laura asks, Did you die in this building. The response sounds like, Yes, died here. #29-This was recorded upstairs in the bible room. You hear an EVP outside of the SB7 saying... "We came in together" or "Hey Lizza".
